Working with adults on the public reference desk is pretty much like dealing with kids in a lunch line: they are cranky, in a hurry, aren't sure what they want and will push others if needed.

New Year
I'm going to make use of my creative writing skills and my library scientist cred to write a daily post of what people ask for, say, wear, smell like, demand and do around here. I'll write good stuff as well as heartwarming stuff and gross stuff. I'll do it all.
